This website is operated by Madden Drainage (also trading as Madden Drainage & Plumbing), a drainage contractor serving Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas. In this policy, we, us and our mean Madden Drainage.

What information we collect
We only collect what we need in order to respond to you and carry out work you ask us to do:
- Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, call us or email us, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, the address where the work is needed, and anything you choose to tell us about the problem.
- Information collected automatically. If you consent to analytics cookies, we receive standard website usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details or any special category data through this website.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To arrange, carry out and invoice drainage work.
- To keep records of the work we have done, including for insurance, warranty and accounting purposes.
- To understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

We share personal information only with the suppliers who help us run the business, and only so far as they need it:
- Our website host and website support provider, who maintain this site and its email delivery.

- Our accountant, bank and insurers, where relevant to a job or a claim.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
Cookies

How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Records relating to work we have carried out, including invoices, are kept for six years after the end of the relevant tax year, as UK tax law requires. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted where there is no good reason for us to keep it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
